BALLET INTENSIVE
BUDAPEST
2024
July 1-12, 2024
WHY WE?
You will receive effective trainings in the Vaganova method from high-class ballet masters and practical solutions from established principal and soloists based on their personal experience. Plus you will learn how to train your muscles from the perspective of sports science for endurance or strength.
Programme Highlights
Classical Ballet Class
For 12 days 5 teachers will work with you. A structured approach in several stages will allow our student to take the best practices from each master and raise his/her personal skills to a new level in classical dance.
Repertoire
The repertoire is based on the study of variations from the most famous ballets of the world stage. Here we will work on the technical execution, the poses and the image of the character.
For girls: Leading ballerinas will share their experience from technical execution to personal tricks on how to sew pointe shoes.
For boys: we have Albert and Robert as teachers who have appeared on the stage of many theaters around the world as leading soloists and will share their experiences in both classical and duet dance.
Body correction + Nutrition and Physiology of Muscular Activity
At the heart of any movement is muscle contraction. Physical training is the foundation of a successful ballet dancer. Unfortunately, ballet schools and academies do not pay enough attention to this.
It is in this block we will deal with:
  • How to train muscles for strength and endurance (theory and practice)
  • How to lose weight / burn fat most effectively and without damaging your body -how to get in shape
  • How to get in shape after a long break, vacation or summer
  • How to avoid imbalances in muscle development
  • What sports supplements and vitamins it makes sense to use
  • And how it all affects the quality of dance.
